TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
