TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
